Alabama Florida League – AFL Players Who Coached Or Managed In The Majors

AFL Players Who Coached Or Managed In The Major Leagues
Pete Reiser, star outfielder for the Brooklyn Dodgers, got started in the  AFL.
In June of 1937, the teenaged Reiser was escorted through the St. Louis
farm system by Cards scout Charley Barrett. Though, Reiser was supposed to only
practice with the teams because of his age, he actually played for Union Springs
on June 11th versus Panama City.
