The former home of the Ozark Eagles is still used today.  Built in 1946, Eagle
Stadium  was home to the AFL Eagles from 1946 from 1952, and again in 1962.
The stadium is maintained well by the city and is a classic AFL field.
In 2002, the Southeastern League Ozark Patriots made Eagle Stadium their
home for the half season of their existence. As you can see from the picture,
the grandstand pushes right up within a few feet of the road.
The view from the left field bullpen.  The grandstand at this time consisted
of painted concrete bleachers with no actual seats.
The view from the grandstand. The entire viewing area is enclosed in chicken wire.
The ticket stand, no longer needed by the Patroits, who folded a few days before
this picture was taken.  Tickets were $6.00 for adults.

The left field wall bears the name B.F. « Buddy Williams Field ». Williams owned the
Ozark Eagles and the stadium sits on a site used for sports from the 1920’s on.
