Andalusia Stadium,
Andalusia, Alabama |
|
This is the view from the location of home plate at what was the first AFL stadium
in Andalusia. This field was used in 1936 during the initial AFL season. Andalusia player Joe Cudillo once hit a ball which broke a second-floor window in the school which stands over 400 feet away in right field.. |

The baseball grandstand is on the left behind the three light poles. The stadium is now the home of Andalusia High’s football team. The white concrete walk continues around the entire stadium. The left field wall was 420 feet away. Chase Riddle of Troy once hit a homer over that wall. |
