The league scheduled their first All-star game for July 28th.  The game was
played in troy before a crowd of 2500 fans. The North team was made up of players
from Union Springs, Evergreen, and Troy, while the South squad fielded players
from Dothan, Panama City, and Andalusia.  The South won, 9-3.  Virgil
Trucks started for the South, but pitched only two innings, having pitched
the night before.  Harvey Johnson hit two homers, and the South knocked 17
base hits off the North pitching.
